Poetry Task

        Hi,
This was the poetry task. I left it copied at school for you. If you see this and get it done, great, if not it will need to be done first week back.

       


        Holiday Poetry Task

Ø Read some of the poems already in your poetry book.

Ø Find 3 different types of poetry and write or print and paste them in your poetry book.

Ø Practise reading them so you can share them with a group next term.

Here are some examples:

·      Cinquain

·      Limerick

·      Haiku

·      Acrostic

·      Narrative

There are many, many more.     Have Fun.

What is 15% of (add all the numbers in your phone number, double it and use that number)
Example: 3124393   3+1+2+4+3+9+3=25    25 x 2= 50

So I work out 15% of 50.
(If you were away when we learnt how to work out percentages last week. Ask one of your friends to look at the example in their maths book.)We will be working with percentages again next term.

Life Education "Harold"

What did you learn or find interesting during the Life Education "Harold" visits.

Power outage

We got candles and had to go to bed early 😭

when I sink my teeth in to a bright yellow thing I suck all the juicy tangy thing It tastes like an apple and banana and tases like lollies.

my lemon story

As I force myself to eat it I start to taste the sour tangy fruit taste.I shove it into my mouth and BANG the sour taste hit me it was worse than ever I nearly spit it out I sculled down some water in relief.I'm not doing that again I think to myself

Lemon

My mouth twitching as i grab a slice.
The bumpy bright yellow skin of the juicy bite I took.
The tangy smell as i accidentally squirt sour juice into my eye.
