Which Flag?

So if you could vote....which flag would you vote for and why?

    I would vote for the new flag because the Union Jack has nothing to do with New Zealand these days.

    I would vote for the new flag because the it represents cause of our teams and because we look almost the same as Austral.

    Hi class,
    I vote for our current flag. Why? - because it represents our link to the British Commonwealth (yes we're still a Commonwealth nation), and also because it's the flag that our ancestors went to war and fought for.

    PS - not even sure I'm meant to be contributing to this blog! We were on the tablet when we clicked the link that was emailed out, and it seems my G+ account was active at the time, not Toby's! The blog looks like a fun idea though - we never got to do things like this waaaaaaay back when I was at school!
    Mrs Inch, could you send Toby another email inviting him to join the blog as the previous link won't work since it's already been used. Thanks, Harley (Toby's dad) :-)

      Yes times have changed over the years...they have way to much fun at school these days, eating lemons, blogging, What next?

    I would vote for the current flag as the Union Jack represents us as a part of the Commonwealth I like the look of it more,also people are saying our flag looks like Australia well Australia's flag is newer than ours THEY COPIED US.

    I am defiantly going to vote for the old flag because it is to much to change , our country fought for that flag and it looks cool so whats the point in changing it.

    I will vote for the New Flag. It does represents New Zealand more then the other flag with the silver fern instead of the Union Jack.
